The fastest helo in the US military is the big ole MH-47G Chinook this version is used by the 160th SOAR "The NightStalkers." Those are the guys that ferry around all the different Special Operations Guys like; Delta, Seals, Special Forces, Rangers, ect.

I've been 150 in an old 5.0. On Paluxy in Tyler. Middle of the day. Wasn't driving and it scared the carp out of me. High schoolers are dumb.

A little more controlled. And a little smoother than OK I'd assume.

Feral hogs have been known to cross that hwy. and have taken some lives.
220 mph there would be little left of either.

Just one more cast!

No kidding!

Apparently neither of y'all have seen Gone in 60 seconds when Nicolas Cage hits that "Go Baby Go' button and leaves that chopper in the dust, in a mustang none the less.

I live in Yukon, a couple miles from here. 75mph is scary. That road has more bumps than a prostitute's @*&&$

Where did Hector get the kind of coin needed to build a car capable of that?

Even if that car COULD hit 208, that would be one heck of a butt-clincher. I've had my 2015 4-banger Mustang limited out at 150 (I think technically it's 149, but close enough) while making a trip across I-20 and at about 120 it just didn't feel right; like at any moment something was going to give out. I can't imagine that a 2011 5.0 would be any better of a feeling. eeks

The factory drive shaft would explode at not much more than 150.
A Coyote 5.0 could probably do that. But it would take some serious coin to get it to that much power.

Just to put in perspective of what it takes to get 200 mph, here is a Hennessy built Vette hitting 200+. Remember this much more aerodynamic, and extremely modified, and not some POS mustang.

Split second, I thought he was holding onto an interlock system.

really think you could tell if he was going 200 or 150?

How many times did he have to fill up to do that?

He's the talk on a few Mustang pages. One guy I know was parked next to this kid at a car show. That car has a Paxton supercharger, Boss 302 intake, long tube headers, drag radials, tuned, and a few other mods.
Bummer he'll never see that car again I'm sure.

But is all of that enough to get over 200? What are the Mustang forums saying? Seems improbable to me.

I wouldn't want to go on a long term cruise at 200+mph on drag radials. First thing I would do is have the radar gun and radar gun operator verified.
