Gibby, if nothing else meet one of these guys at the lake and see the difference. My brother had his done and it is amazing (hds10, HDS7). As for me I was first impression of him very pleased. He said meet him at ramp and he was a couple minute early. To me that speaks volumes of this man. PM me I might can get my brother to show ya.
All said use this man's service.

We meet him at 154 public ramp on Lake Fork. He jumped right in the boat launched and started tuning the console unit going north by bridge. They hit some spots one off the orange buoy at Lil Mustang and Williams. You could see the image of the big bass next to a tree and crappie everywhere.

Could you post images of the DI / SI? I have a helix 10 DI/SI that I have been happy with but I know I am not getting everything out of the unit.
Is your unit wired directly to the battery? Is there more to it than adjusting contrast / sensitivity / sharpness? It seems like I have to adjust mine on every trip due to differing water conditons. Did he teach you how to adjudt it?
Thanks for yoyr time.

I'd love to have Slade or someone dial in my console HDS 10 Gen 2 and bow HDS 5. I THINK I have good structure scan imaging, but suspect i'd be surprised if an expert tweaked it.
I'm live on Cedar Creek, so if there's ever an opportunity, PM me.

Slade who?? Does he put on classes or just help when you call him and set something up? I would love to have someone do this and show me how to properly work my graph but I am in south Texas- IF he would be willing to come down this direction I bet I could get enough people together that would pay to make his trip and time well worth it!
