Culprit worms- called electric blue lightning now , I'm not sure if it's exactly the same as the one I used back in the early nineties or not- looks about the same. I'm not remembering the lightning wording from then but I'm not sure.

Color is overrated. I'll throw anything. I pick colors at random. I rarely see color make aa difference.

I fished a BASS tournament on Lake Lanier back in the 80's and at one of the local tackle shops I found some Red's Catalpa Worms. They were a type of finesse worm, thin with a straight tail, about 6 inches long. But it was the color that knocked me out. It was a real light brown, kinda like coffee with too much creamer in it, and had a bunch of tiny red flakes. I bought all they had thinking they would probably work on Lanier. They didn't, but when I got back to Texas I tried them and they were da' bomb! I hoarded those things for tournament use only and they served me well. I've never seen another package of them anywhere.
