We need to spend that $ on a new stadium. One where 500 food drives can be caught by a rover.

it was time to let him go, to many injuries, not worth the high cost. Someone like Cleveland will pick him up and he will have a break out year. probably beat us in the first series we play them. Before the injures he was very good. Good luck, Dutch!

Certainly had talent, as he demonstrated against the Cards in the World Series, but my impression was that he did not take his profession seriously and lacked mental toughness. If his attitude was more like Colby's he would have been much better.

I never could understand what was holding him back. He had such a live arm but he just couldn't do it consistently. Loved his personality. I hear he was a great team mate. But its a business. I think they can get a better pitcher for the money. But hate to see him go. I liked him.

Wish the injuries wouldn't have happened to him. He was a great pitcher when healthy. Hope he get's it back together. I agree 100% with this. I also think that the Rangers rushed him back just like they did Matt Harrison. Both had great potential. Harrison will never play again, and Holland will never be able to be what he showed signs of.

Oh no! The pitching staff will need a new Funny Handshake Liaison to teach them the latest hand jive from the infield.
