Someone has gathered the fish up and started piling them up on the West Bank of Caney South of 154. I figured someone would know something.

Where was that at exactly? My buddy and I have caught some big fish recently that should have been 7-9 lbs but they were maybe 4. Sick looking snakes. Also the bite I was on all but died on the east arm two weeks ago except for the one really bad looking fish. Starting back in the summer all the bigger fish I caught were covered in red open sores. I have been wondering if something was going on......

WOW. Here is what a FB Group member said in the Lake Fork thread
"I heard that the biologists from tpwd were doing a chemical survey and they left the fish for the buzzards and the coons, I guess whatever testing they do kills them"?

Pics were actually posted by Jerry Kirkpatrick of Hideaway Harbor on their web page, everyone's kind of freaked out, someone surly has seen something going on.

Something seems bad wrong. Dang. Didn't see anything like that 3 weeks ago.

Did Fork or just north of there catch a really heavy rain in a short period of time, recently? I've seen fish kills where the water came up real fast and washed a ton of nutrients, fertilizer and pesticides into the lake. Causing a rapid algae bloom and oxygen deprivation. Looks like the water came up and receded leaving those fish there or, are the folks in Hideaway picking them up and placing them in a couple spots?
Coincidence is His way of remaining anonymous.

Did the OP's location mean Little or Big Caney? South of Hwy 154(bridge?) is Big Caney.

I was there last Wednesday and they ( I'm guessing TP&W ) were shocking up fish right by the 154 ramp. By the time I got launched and parked my truck they were gone and I didn't see which way they went. Those fish didn't get there by themselves and yes I think the OP meant Big Caney and since 154 runs NS I wonder if his direction is off a tad.
