Looks like a huge yellow cross of some sorts to me. Got any close up pics?

Texas Parks and wildlife refers to that as a white bass hybrid X

Looks like a magnum white. Broken lines mean nothing, i only see one lateral stripe all the way to the tail, that too means nothing. How many tooth patches? hybrid, yellow and yellow/white hybrid only have one. Usually the best indicator of what species it is.

Well it looks like a big ole fat Sand bass (white bass)! It is so fat it has the appearance of hybrid (palmetto) bass. There are no real sources for hybrid in that lake as far as I could tell. Whites have never been stocked there as per TPWD. The public will sometimes release white bass (illegally) in lakes and they reproduce from them. Without seeing the tooth patch any guess is good. Tooth patch will tell the tale. That is what the rangers look at. Regardless it is a nice white bass of some sort. Great catch!

We catch them on Tawakoni pretty often. Especially when we are fishing with live bait.
I am 100% certain it's a hybrid white yellow X
