Just wanted to get some opinions from the forum on quality of Strike King vs Bandit crankbaits. What do you all prefer (or are there others you recommend)? Deep or shallow...

both offer good baits for the price but for a little more money there are some better options available imo. Strike kings xd series is hard to beat for the price and diving depths available.

I use strike king and will continue to use them. Good costumer service and good quality. Haven't used bandit before though.

I use both, mostly the Strike King in square bill. Bandit in the medium running.

Strike King XD and KVD squarebills are good baits. I think the Bandit 200 is a better bait and similar to the Strike King 3 series.
I really like the the Bandit 100 for a smaller "squarebill" type bait. It gets me lots of bites. I have caught multiple fish in the DD range on it too.

Strike King is probably better quality however I throw pretty much only Bandit. It's more of a confidence thing than anything. I just use what works for me. My problem is I keep using the same bait as long as it works

Bandit used to be good until PRADCO bought them and took them overseas. Just like all of their lures they don't run worth a dang now. Strike baits run pretty good but they are cruddily made. Paint comes off and the bills break. So IMO they both suck. Lucky Craft, Sixth Sense Are two of the great baits that always run true, and the colors stay on them.
PRADCO bought Norman Lures last year so I have Ben loading up on the American made ones before they send them overseas too.
Retirement best job ever.

I cant choose between them so I keep an assortment of both as they each seem to have their place and time to shine. Great baits that are priced right, you dont find that much these days.

I have never used a Bandit so I can't give you a comparison but I do use SK crankbaits. I have not had quality issues with mine. I get one that won't run true every now and then but that's an easy fix. I think they make a great bait.

Use SK SB a lot. Never tried any Bandit lures. Also really like 6th Sense and Xcite SB's and I have a few Megabass S Cranks that I like a lot, but these do cost three times+ a SK, 6th Sense or Xcite SB's.

Used Bandit squarebills for years and really like them and had good success. Started using the SK 1.5 a couple of years ago, and really like it as well. But, the bill on them is thin and brittle so you have to be careful around docks or they will break easily. The will also break if you slap the water a few times to remove junk off the bait.
