Gonna make a trip to spence saturday and try some kayak fishing for bass. Havent been on the lake in probably 15 years or so. My son has just learned worm fishing so hopefully we can get on a few with plastics. He caught his 1st worm fish last outing. Anyone been catching lately??

think they are catchin a few small fish is all ive heard

Only been a few times but it was tough every time. Talked to a few guys and that caught some but all small fish. May be worth going somewhere else to get your son on fish.

Would have gone to champion but saw they decided to close the gate to rework the park. Was hoping spence was still doing good. Heard some good things a while back but i had other things going at the time.

Apparently they have been chewing at OC Fisher. yeah, saw some stuff posted on facebook on fisher. Used to enjoy all these lakes and they all pretty much died off and some dang near dried up.
