Anyone have one? I am thinking about getting, and wanted to know the opinions of others. What brand do you have, options, etc.

Are you talking about bed cover (tonneau) or topper. I currently have an Undercover SE on my 2015 F150 and love it. Undercover also make a folding version as well as Bak-Flip. DFW Camper here in Dallas was the best price I found when purchasing mine.

I am looking at the "camper shell" type. More or less turn your truck into a pseudo SUV. I would like to have more dry storage for long trips, and also have the ability to have my dogs ride inside the bed.

I have had a Leer on my last two pickups. One flat bed cover (hard shell) and now a ?? I guess full size 'topper'. Really like them....But, they are NOT inexpensive but, will last you a long, long time and the locking mechanisms seems to be more secure. ** One caveat: My p/u has a rear sliding glass window: I wish the shell had one as well....for total access from the truck to the topper JMO God Bless...hope this helps Lee

Yes I am looking at ARE/LEER just like the one in your picture. Curious what options you have on yours? I want to be able to store rods but was not sure how much space I would have on the roof for it. (I have an 8ft bed)

Yes I am looking at ARE/LEER just like the one in your picture. Curious what options you have on yours? I want to be able to store rods but was not sure how much space I would have on the roof for it. (I have an 8ft bed) I have a 2010 Ford F150 regular cab with an 8 foot bed and I put a Snugtop on it. The options I chose were the sliding window to the cab, sliding windows with pet screens and Yakima rails and rack on top. I did not want to spend the extra money on their rod rack system so I just bought a motorcycle net from Harbor Freight and mounted that to the interior roof using the bolts that attached the Yakima rails to the camper top. I then slide my four 7 foot one piece rods (in their rod socks) through the net. Since I do not have a sliding window in the cab the Snugtop sliding window allows me to clean the exterior of both the cab windows. Even though I do not have any pets I got the pet screens for added security while camping. For camping I added a second battery to provide power to the camper shell interior and added LED lights to the roof interior to provide light. I also had a friend build up the inside of the cab with storage boxes on either side with the middle section left open to carry storage boxes and to provide a sleeping area. The photo shows the middle section with the top in place. This also provides some security as all anyone can see when looking through the windows is a platform without any idea as to what might be in there. When sleeping or needing to transport anything in that middle area the top can either be placed on the floor or removed entirely. Also I have mounted a plastic drain pipe using velcro on the left side that I was using to carry my rods before going to the net.
