So I wake up super early (which is a miracle for me) to be on Canyon Lake before first light and hopefully find some good striper action. I drive to a McDonalds near the lake for breakfast and when I come out I have a view of the back of the boat and my jaw drops when I see this:

How about that? I have no idea when and how it happened but that thing was dangling and you were able to move it up/down with one finger. Anybody ever seen or heard about something like this before?
How come I keep catching small fish when every product I buy is supposed to catch more and bigger fish?

The fab shop here on Lake Travis sees stuff like that all the time. Look at the thickness of the floor it was welded to and it becomes pretty easy to understand.
