I was just wondering if anyone knows if there is a "run" at Lake Arlington.Went by today where the creek on the south end of the lake(I asssume it comes from the lake) crosses Bus.287 and wondered if anybody has ever caught any sandies there during the spring. Thanks, any feedback would be appreciated.

There are sandies in that lake and big ones too, but it is it and miss at times. There are also a slew of yellow bass and big gaspergou's as well.
Water is really murky right now.
Stear clear of the FT Worth side the land pirates will get you.

It is really shallow down there lots of stick ups, however, that area does hold fish and it is actuwally the section of I-20 right before it merges with 287 right after you pass the 820 junction.

I drove under I20 at the creek on the liquor store side just to check and see if there were anyone down there last week. Only person there was a shady looking guy on a bicycle with a tent setup about 30 yards from the road.
