Anyone do any fishing for cats in stillhouse lake, or dam? Im looking for some advice, or thoughts for that lake. Or even anything to say about Belton lake. I saw some rod holders by a bridge in front of a large flat last summer, but never saw anyone fishing it.

Somebody just back of you while you are fishing is as bad as someone looking over your shoulder while you write a letter to your girl.

i do not know nothing about stillhouse.
this time of year you may be able to catch a few whites around rogers park, or the sand flats on Belton Lake.
you have to have a boat to get to the spots i said.

welcome to the forum!

It's not uncommon to see catfish topwater feeding on grasshoppers out there, but likely not this early. I would try shad or liver around the rocks or the submerged fallen bridge pilings.
