Anyone do any fishing for cats in stillhouse lake, or dam? Im looking for some advice, or thoughts for that lake. Or even anything to say about Belton lake. I saw some rod holders by a bridge in front of a large flat last summer, but never saw anyone fishing it.

i do not know nothing about stillhouse. this time of year you may be able to catch a few whites around rogers park, or the sand flats on Belton Lake. you have to have a boat to get to the spots i said.

It's not uncommon to see catfish topwater feeding on grasshoppers out there, but likely not this early. I would try shad or liver around the rocks or the submerged fallen bridge pilings.
