I laugh at you getting mad because of no one responding, but answer this question for me OP. Why would anyone buy an Insight card if all of our graphs come with built in Insight?

Agree with Grout-Scout, if you plan to go away from the built in Insight mapping, I wouldnt go with another Insight Mapping, may see some differences but not what you may think. I would recommend either the Navionics Platium or Nav+ region card, depending on what your mapping preferences are, but before you make a purchase, you do have the ability to look at all of the avaiable mapping from Navionics free of charge at:
http://webapp.navionics.com/#boating@6&key=omvvDnjx%7DP

Be sure to toggle the button in the bottom left and turn on the Sonar Chart layer.

By going this route you have 2 different option at your disposal for mapping between you built in Insight and your Navionics mapping. IMO always better to have more than one tool.

Not all units come with Insight built in, there are ROW units that do not have it. I have Navionics + and I dig it.

Yeah Op, just go with the Navionics platinum hot maps south. You will not be disappointed.

I have a Lowrance with factory installed INSIGHT mapping and I have the Navionics Platinum Map. The Navionics generally has much better mapping and features, but occasionally the Navionics INSIGHT on certain lakes will beat it. This past weekend on Rayburn I was wanting to run the Long Cut about the 147 bridge. My Navonics did not show the boat lane, but the INSIGHT did. If you have the money get both. It pays in the long run.

If you have not looked at one of the Legend cards for specific states, please do so.

I just found an Old Insight Pro card and plugged it into my HDS. The card offers more contour but very little beyond that from what I could see.

Gamblinman - Those legend cards look pretty cool. Is it only available for the lakes listed? None for Ray Roberts or Lewisville? Wish I had the Lanier map when I was living in Georgia. Loved that lake!
