Has anyone tried to us the whopper Popper in saltwater ? I was wondering how it would work for trout , would love to see it in a pink pattern I've heard that color really works in Matagora Bay

I don't see why it wouldn't work. Give it a try. But make sure to rinse it off quickly after use. Don't want it rusting on you
You'll always miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

It works... rather well
I haven't seen a species it doesn't work on.

It's called the Whopper "Plopper" made by River2Sea. You can get some on EBay if you can't find them anywhere. YES. They work in saltwater very well. It is a predator lure and there are predator fish in both salt and fresh. Reds are the bass of salt water and hit it well early in the morning.
