Bull reds, sharks, drum, whitting, trout.
Politicians, baseball players, high-powered corporate CEO's they all seem to eventually let us down. Nature, however, does not. Look to her for inspiration and you will learn the secrets to living a good life. The most Important lesson it would seem is to make sure you spend as much time fishing as anything else.

with the warm fall this winter you might not have to go far off the jetties to hookup on an occasional kingfish and other species. ON a Slow troll with ribbonfish If, you do try the Anchorage area and do not have any luck with slow troll, then try slow drift, if not action get back up just outside jetties or around them. There are lots of fish coming out of the jetties next 45 days. After water temp drops in coming months the Anchorage will be very slow going, right now it can be hit or miss.

Jetties...reds, shark, tarpon, trout, drum and I've caught more than a few ling at the end of the jetties this time of year. Anchorage should still have some kings, ling and shark but not for long.
