I've been fishing Hubbard about 5 days a weeks since buying the boat trying to get a handle on the lake again but have honestly spent the majority of that time chasing green trash fish. Usually every time out I will drive over a few popular places and graph and maybe slab for 10 minutes but the fish have been hard to locate in numbers and even harder to catch consistently. Water temps have fallen from 80.7 in the beginning of the week with winds out of the south to 74 degrees in some places as of yesterday with NNE winds. By in large what I have found from fishing the goto humps is that it seems that fish are the least racist of all animals as we have been catching strange combinations of fish every day out. Any one hump could produce a single White Bass, Blue Cat and then Crappie or LMB all in a 20 minute period. Took the whole family out on the lake yesterday so we spent more time than usual in search of whitey and had a bit more success. Here are some pictures of fish caught this week. Bass bite has been awesome, not a lot of size but real consistent numbers... Adam has been getting in on the LMB action too. With 5 fish in the boat this week here's one. Here is Sarah with her first green trash fish ever! Her second LMB came a few casts later! I've pulled in a few more Drums.. Crappie came to play too... Adam and Sarah caught all the white bass but not many pictures as the wind kept blowing me off the spot we were catching them on.. and Dad caught the only Hybrid of the week and 2nd in the boat in as many weeks....still looking for some size though... Sorry I dont have any more success stories or pictures of Whites and Hybrids as we havent really found them stacked up yet....but we will!! Probably going back out this evening and with some lighter winds maybe we'll have some better success and more pictures of good times to share! Still looking forward to seeing some of the old crew out on the water. It seems that White Bass Fisherman have proved to be more elusive than the White Bass themselves!

Nice pic report, Rap. We boated 2 green trout also at that spot. 2 good whites, 4 crappies, and too many elusive yellows.

Sorry I missed ya Mike. Son and I fished Saturday and Sunday. Caught big hybrids and lots of LMB. The hybrids were all legal. Probably caught 8 Saturday and 4 Sunday.
Give me a shout next time you are out!
I do enjoy a good Squirt now and then.

Wow Austin nice fish you guys got into the big ones. I'll give a shout next time we go out but I appreciate the location clues. We'll throw some swim baits down there and see what we stir up.

Nice fish and thanks for adding the water temperature report. I have been wondering if the temps were below 80 F yet or not. Thank you, I might pull the tarp back of the boat and head back out there again this weekend.
