My flight home was supposed to be today at 2pm. Matthew said otherwise... Flight was canceled, airports are shut down, hotel fought with me on staying because they are full. If anyone else is in the storm path stay safe. Everything is starting to pick up here near Ft. Lauderdale.

Just curious but what would you have done if the hotel wouldn't have let you stay? Stay safe man.

Had a buddy that decided he would stay in florida when it was time to evacuate. My flight was cancelled also , so got a car rental and drove out. I left and he called crying three days later that it still was a disaster there with no power. No power means NO ELECTRICTY for likely a week. No lights , no ac, cash machines and registers dont work. Buy you some good books and a flash light.

Just curious why you would not have tried to get out earlier, this storm has been brewing for days and heading that way.

The storm is already even with Miami so you probably won't have to much damage. Hopefully the airline will get you out of there soon.
