Have my helix fairly dialed until I hit the button to turn the tm on and then it goes to [censored]. Any ideas?gonna move my transducer as far away from the prop as I can but probably gonna be stumped after that.

In a transducer shield/saver mount if that makes a difference.

You are getting RFI from the trolling motor. Nothing unusual about that.

Contact Humminbird Customer Service for help with that issue.

Give them more information than you have done here. What motor and how is the sonar unit powered.

Ok. Minnkota maxxum. Powered off one of my accessory wires. Think I just might have had higher expectations on the image I was going to get.

You need to Run a new power wire all the way back to the batteries. And make sure you use a fuse.on it. If you can Run the wire down the side with out all the other wires. The interference will go away

The HD transducers are also less prone to electrical interference.
