Didn't know where else to put this and thought y'all might like it. My cousin asked if I wanted to help with an RMO rod building class. I said heck yeah. He forgot to tell me the first class so I didn't make it and played catch up and mainly helped the kids the second class. I had watched enough YouTube videos to know what I was doing. The instructor showed us how to find spine, put handles on, space guides, ect. But they we only using one color thread and no decorative touches. I didn't get much done because I was helping the kids so I took mine home and had my way with it lol. We will finish them Sunday afternoon. Man, I really enjoyed this and I think I have a knack for it. Now I want to get a real set up instead of the cardboard learning kit. May even expand SJC into custom rods after some practice and test runs. I'll post finished pics after we get done.

Good Job! Thanks Vern! Now that's purdy.... Is it a jigging rod? Thanks SK. It will be when it's in my hand lol! I Just had to take what he gave me I didn't have any choice in rods so it's not ideal. It is a 6' med fast action but should work fine for crappie or even sandbass. Most of the kids in there want to bass fish so that is what he was really trying to let them build but it was still good practice and will catch. It will definitely not be what I will be buying when I build another one.
