 1998 225 EFI lower unit interchange with 2004 225 Optimax

Subject line says it all. The lower unit on my 1998 225 EFI
Has a bent prop shaft, my son is willing to let me borrow the lower unit off
His 2004 225 Optimax since his is down with a bad air compressor.
Anyone know if these two will interchange.
