Wife and I are heading out to hit a few east Texas lakes next week. Anyone suggest a place to stay on Lake of the pines? Thanks

If you're camping then Brushy Creek or Alley creek. Alley creek faces to the west and brushy faces towards the east. If you're looking to for a room, get with Steve and Fabian at Castaway Inn off of hwy 155. Also, the north side of the lake on 729 and 155 is wet. The west side of the lake, 726, is dry.
