Fished Roberts, Lavon and Grapevine this week. Caught lots of box fish on each lake. A regular customer of mine who lives close to Grapevine wanted me to come to Lake Grapevine and find him some blue cat. Had never fished Grapevine for catfish. Had fished for sandies a couple of times years back. Was impressed with lots of shad jumping out of the water in the coves. We found plenty of bait fish in 20-30ft. Was tough drift with little wind but managed some nice box fish and one at 18#. Grapevine seems to be real good shape after the floods.
