Will plug size be different is all I'm concerned about.

That's a power supply, not a battery charger. Apples and oranges.

What you need -

Just find a plug that fits, it doesn't matter what it came off of.

I'm lost then. The plug on the cameras are 3.5mm I remember. Are you just looking to connect the battery to the cam? I have some cords for that.

Man rereading the thread reveals how lost I am. I got them on eBay. I have black ops and another brand cam. Both 6v same connector. Lemme check eBay history to see what it was for sure.

Edit

Ok my eBay history does not go back that far. I have them in cave. I get you a measured pic in a bit.

Shouldn't this be in the D.I.Y. area ? ? ?

It _is_ very entertaining, though.

Ok, here we go -

I know you're not interested, but here's my cam rig in tear down more. It uses a large twelve volt battery in the fat fifty box, and a 12 -6 volt regulator to power the cam. The square heatsink is the six volt source. The camera box in on the other side of the pole. You can see a little of it there.

Two different cam manufactures, same connector.

Here's the cables I got off eBay -

Not all plugs that will fit are necessarily the same voltage power supply.
Granted for the purpose of this post after the power supply is cut off it doesn't matter.
But just to let folks know, just because a plug from a power supply will fit... say a rechargeable beard trimmer doesn't mean the correct voltage is going to be applied to the device. How do I know this you might ask? Well one fried battery, wiring, and switch in a rechargeable beard trimmer told me that 12 volt DC as not what it wanted. But the plug did fit. I think it was supposed to be 2.3v or some such but that's just a guess at this point. It was an eye opener for me because i thought the plug style and size was voltage specific for this very reason. Apparently that is not always so.

As i said this is just more for information purposes and doesn't really apply to the OP question but might save someone from destroying some device some day. Usually need a magnifying glass to read it but the input/output in both volts and amps or miliamps too I believe also is listed on about every power supply I'v ever seen. Might have to google the P/N of the device to see what it takes but sometimes there's a label on the device itself that tells it.

Got Hops cord today. Thanks man.

Sad to say but 99% sure it ain't gonna work. Same size as the laptop plug I tried.

I did happen to find a smaller size plugged into my Roku though.

Will check tomorrow and use it if it works. Found a replacement on Ebay for $3 delivered.

He only needs the plug with the wire, not the power supply. If it fits...
