well spring is makin its way in.. and its time for some big bass fishin. i went out to this small lake today and found plenty of bass stackd up along stumps and shallow flats. i tried pitchin all different kind of lures at them but they would just leave and come back.. out of the 9 or so i saw i only caught two of them.. one on spinnerbait and one on a plastic worm. what tactics do yall guys use to catch pre-spawn and spawning largemouth bass?
tight lines

Guys, i went out today too, and had better luck. I was using an olive wooly bugger, with some extra gold flash tied in, and killed them today. 12 bass while sight fishin, 5 monster crappie, and a handfull of bluegill, too. I was fishing at an american fish and game club site. way cool. sight fishing was a blast. 10 of the 12 bass, i actually saw the take. later, trout bum
