It's not the size of the gaff you use to catch big crappie, it's how much dynamite you use. peep

There was a guy near me who gaffed it and took the picture from his boat. There was no way I had to get that nasty ol' critter into my boat.

On most lakes we usually don't need a gaff for the crappie. When we fish Lewiville, you better have one because those things are huge.
