The red tide is just messing our fishing days here in SPI. Hoping these rainy days will clear it out before the red drum run. Reports of party boats keeping customers happy with limits of red drums at the end of the jetties the past week. That is with the hint of red tide around.
Pompanos would sure be a lot on a clear water after red tide bloom, i don't know the reason why but that is what i heard from seasoned jetty hoppers and it did happen last year after the read tide cleared out.
