Is it safe to run across the lake? From say Housen to Pirate?

EW 3 or 4 boat lane will get you there. Follow the markers.

Look into Lance Vick's Boatlanes add-on. Saved my bacon on Toledo more than once, some of the markers may be missing!

Look into Lance Vick's Boatlanes add-on. Saved my bacon on Toledo more than once, some of the markers may be missing!
Saved mine as well, boat lanes chip is worth every penny.

The EW lanes are marked nicely in that area. There is 1 just south of were you come out of Caney.

Ok I haven't seen any marked on the Navionics web app.
