Anyone have any experience with one. Looks like a good yak with a lot of added features.

I have one and I absolutely love it. Seat is very comfortable and tracks good even without using the rudder.

Do you guys stand and fish in yours? The price point looks amazing based on the standard options.

I did some research as I was thinking of getting one. I even set up a demo paddle in the end I dont think much of them, cheap Chinese knockoff. The same kayak is marketed under different names on ebay and criaglist. Check some of the Australian & New Zealand boards you can see the same kayak with different names. They seem to be considered a piece of cheap junk there. Save a couple hundred more and get a quality Kayak

Maybe I'll do that next time out. Google standing in vibe kayak to see tons of videos showing folks doing it. Its definitely stable enough, and yes the price point is more bang for the buck than other kayaks. super stable, lots of storage, great glide and very maneuverable.

In all my research I never saw anyone that actually demo'ed one state it was "cheap junk". The materials, and hull thickness is right up there with the big names, but without the price normally associated with a "brand name" kayak. Yes there was some quality control issues, but those were resolved quickly. Vibes customer service is incredible as well See for yourself https://www.facebook.com/groups/vibekayaks/

Thanks for all the feedback. I have been doing research for a couple of months and have not seen any bad comments or reviews. I will keep looking.

Biggest thing is the feed back on the vibe page. Every issue that users have found, have been either fixed, replaced, or suggestions for work arounds. Is this the end all kayak? Probably not for some, but its all about individual choice, that's why there are so many out there to choose from. The customer service can't be beat imo. Good luck in your search, if you have any questions, feel free to ask

I demo'd one. Very impressed. Tracked straight, good speed and stability. Lots of features for that price point.

I've been seeing more and more of them at my local lake and one morning three individuals were launching their Vibe kayaks. I couldn't stand it any longer and went up to one of the guys and ask him where he bought his. He bought it through a local distributor, from a small kayak shop. He said he's had it for about a year and couldn't be more happy about the purchase. It has all the features of a more expensive kayak but at an affordable price. I can't remember how much he said it weighed but it was around 75# or so and that is a pretty good indication that it's not made from thin lightweight plastic.
Just one more cast!
