What type of amchor do You all use for anchoring by jetties and on the near shore reefs ?

Old days we used grapnel made from rebar,, could straighten out a tine to get it back if needed they used to sell them in the bait shops

X2 use the bendable prong anchors. You will not regret it.

Yes. Perfect. So long as you can bend the prongs to get it loose. I have to tie to a cleat and gas it to get mine straightened to get it loose.

If you use a Danforth style(which work and hold great), don't use a high-tensile, which will break your rode or something on your boat and still not let loose. The standard "S" type will bend and let go, and you can bend them back.
The bottom really dictates what anchor to use. Sand: Danforth. Grass: Fisherman or Rebar. Mud: Plow or Bruce.
I did 12,000 miles in my 38-foot powerboat in the Caribbean, and had five different style anchors, and needed them all at one time or another.

A Mighty Mite for the Jetties people say. Me, I use a Boyles Anchor for the Bays/Reefs. I have had too many problems using a smooth round nose type Danforth anchor. I have had them literally "slide" across reefs while drifting with the current trying to get them to stick. I still have them but do not use them. Boyles for me. my 2 cents

Danforth, yep mine was caught, but good and had to fight the wind for the jetties. Was able to get the ring to slide back to the anchor's base and pull free. Felt good to get out of that jam. Good luck to you.
