Is it possible to launch a small aluminum boat off a trailer at the 340 loop bridge over the brazos east of Waco?

StumpJumper1, I see the dirt road access off the underpass/turnaround on Highway6/340 Loop right at the Brazos River. Looks doable but I can't confirm it. There is an actual free public boat ramp/dock on Cameron Dr. right in the McLennan Community College campus(look @ Google Maps). Next to the outdoor theater. It puts you right on the Bosque River and you can go up a short ways up to the Lake Waco dam or downstream a short ways and enter the Brazos. Just an option for fishing the Brazos around Waco.

There is a launch by the Hwy 7 bridge west of Marlin.

Although I have not tried it, I do have some friends that have launched a 14 foot flat bottom with 20 h.p. motor. They were not able to get the trailer to the water's edge so they take the boat off the trailer and drag it by hand down the hill to the water. Takes three of them. To load the boat back up, they hook a long tow strap to the boat and drag it up the hill to where they can then winch it on the trailer. They say the sand is soft enough to not damage the bottom of the boat. So to my understanding you are not able to get a vehicle and trailer close to the bank to launch. Sounds like too much work to me so I don't go with them.
