we stuck around 28 fish today, kept 17, thick and healthy, I upsized my bait to a yum wooley beavertail, in pumpkin /chart with the bottom of the tail dipped in blue dye. Got some good thumps, but the best is yet to come. this morning it was stable and the fish were spread out on and around the brush, but then the pressure started rising, and they got tight up against it. fished some timber first thing in the morning and got a few dinks and one good one. cant wait for a nice coldfront to come in. will post pics tommorow they are chillin on ice right now. werent many anglers on the lake today,saw two mud mota boats coming from the river,was that you and your imposter Fooshman?

also anybody know what they are building at the foot of twin bridges on the west bank?

Neither was me. I was hunting private this morning.

They are reinforcing the bridges that are shifting.

you gonna catch some good fish man, I been on the west bank, between twin bridges and speegleville and Lacy point They have the bridge bouyed off with keep out bouys , they are working over there, dont think you can fish it right now.
Havent done much on deeper stuff, but have heard other getting some up to 20 ft.
I think twin bridges ramp is still closed.

Thanks again Steve for the tip. We brought home 31 nice crappie on Monday as well as a couple nice eater blue cats. Thinking I may head back out to Waco in the morning to put fillets in my freezer.
