A few years ago the USA was bringing in RN's due to a nursing shortage. Hospitals paid $10K bonus, Airfare, Visa cost, and provided housing and spending money for up to a year. They paid US wages to since a RN in Philippines makes about $8 per day, they were all going to school for Nursing. They could send money home and buy houses back home and start businesses and provide for their families with their US wages.

You can't not get a tourist visa to USA from Phiilppines, They rarely issue them so their only way to realize the American Dream was by school and going into a industry that pays well. Kinda like all the IT people we are bringing in now of days.

Interesting. How come they dont issue tourists Visas from the PI to the US?

Too many people just stay or what?

we used one name for if you knocked or rang. Worked real good when we lived in a big apartment complex.

and if this was a one time deal move on. Kid could be doing worse things

It has been more than once, we have also been getting egged, as well as some of the other neighbors. I also have these guys driving by on occasion and yelling at my youngest kid. It's becoming an issue.

In that case want to borrow my Great Dane? She's a gentile giant but the size alone scares some. Oh and rarely barks but when she does it's like a lions roar.

I could do that, but talking them into blowing in his face is the hard part. Otherwise, he will just have a concerned look on his face.

Maybe. Just like most countries in the world the USA will not let their people enter the USA unless they can get a tourist visa and it difficult to get unless you are wealthy. Only about 35 countries are on VWP (Visa Waiver Program) where they can buy a ticket to USA and come here.

Most of the world can't come to USA due to USA not issuing tourist Visas.

If it were an adult, maybe. Just a kid goofing around.
