Wow. Didn't think Odessa has weather like this.
Tornados all around, hail up to baseball size. Left my travel trailer and went and parked inside a car wash bay.
I think there were like 6 or more tornados. Lots of flooding.
That is all....

I wouldn't hit a car wash bay with hail that size. Those tin roofs won't slow it down much less protect your car/self. Get under metal and concrete for hail.

If your ever caught in that situation again, look for a drive thru bank and park under the roof.

I'm an adjuster and when I move to a new hotel, I try and locate a bank with brick & a plywood/shingle roof close to the hotel.

Rode out many a hail storm like this!

Looking at radar last night about 8:30 and saw that big hook in the storm over Odessa. Was keeping fingers crossed.

I live in North Odessa, storm blew through and missed me, but my next door neighbors went to her parents house in West Odessa. They got hail damage on both their vehicles. Been better off staying home.

Oh yes they have weather like that! Not uncommon, I was born and raised there.

Travel trailers are not the best places to be in a tornado
