You can try the docks by the Ihop on 105, or I think some people fish by the FM 830 boat ramp. There's also the Scotts Ridge Road boat ramp, 1097 bridge, and Stubblefield. I have the additional access near the condo where we are staying that is private. I'm actually at lake woodlands at the moment. I had to drop my wife off for her convention classes at the Marriott by the lake.

1097 bridge or from 105 take Walden rd north, there's a wal mart and whataburger at that road.
There's Stewart creek first with access on right to fish or further down is a bigger body of water there at that bridge on north side on right, small boat ramp on left.
Coast is more than likely gonna be tore up this weekend.

With 2 kids at home, we rarely have freedom to just GO. I was going to drive to Victoria tomorrow and have lunch with my friend, and he said they were spending the weekend at POC, and we may as well come down and use their guest bedroom. So we said DONE. It'll be a quick turn around, but it'll be fun.
