My partner and I are on the bass fishing team for grapevine high school and we need a boat captain. It would be very much appreciated

Hey if anyone will give them a ride I will detail your boat for you...I don't want to see a kid not have a ride...My son fishes for Decatur and would want the same...

In all seriousness, JP or one of the mods needs to create a sticky for the top of this section solely dedicated to High School kids looking for a boat Captain. It seems like at any given point there are a minimum of 3 threads where these kids are trying to find someone. It's awesome seeing the youth in Texas getting into this in such large numbers but they've got the THSBA needs to figure something out with these Captains. It's nearly impossible to find one for every team that wants to fish.

Could someone explain the details of what is required of the boat captain, also lake and date, thanks. you need to have insurance on your boat, time to take the kids out and a boat..Also the will do a background check. That's it.

FYI...if you have a CHL or LTC, that works as a background check.

People are laughing when I said Kayak high school bass fishing is coming... wait till it gets to be 10 years old and you got 75000 kids wanted to fish and a bad economy no boats the kayak Bass Fishing is coming law of averages and numbers
