Just wanted to thank whoever gave me the advice on this a couple of weeks ago. It works on the schooled up bass, white bass and yellow perch. I am using the fluke junior in Pearl.

Super Fluke in rear for casting distance and a regular fluke in front. Keep about 2-3 inches between nose-tail. Looks like a larger baitfish chasing a smaller one. Awesome technique that not many use because it takes a little time to prep it.
Everything on your bass boat is broken......You just don't know it yet.

I run 20# on one and 15# on the other. Gives them different actions/Fall rates.

yeah it does suck if you break off, but if I am going to use it a lot I just pre make my leaders with the barrel swivels tied on.

Is it important to use two swivels instead of a triple swivel? Does the one on top sliding up and down the line make for a more effective catching set up? Could it be that the sliding swivel may damage the knot or line over time and cause it to fail?

You're welcome. I myself learned about the Donkey rig at this site. When the biting is tough, I'm doubling almost everything (wacky, drop-shot, weightless Texas, flukes, swimbaits, bugs)
still learning

I did and broke off a good fish when two grabbed it at once. They can get too much leverage when you have two 5+ pound fish on at once. With the second swivel sliding up & down the main line they can't get that leverage.

Good point Ken A. It is wild to see two fish jump at the same time.

Hey Donald, Never had a problem with the sliding swivel on main line. Been using this rig ever since we called it Do Nothing Rig. When I was guiding we used it alot. For folks who don't fish alot. cream worms and lizards pre-rigged hooks in them, I cut the propellers off. Having fun!

Now that is a different twist for sure. We use to just clean a pond out on the pre-rigged Cream Worms and Lizards.
