2016 Operation Comfort Benefit Tournament is a smashing success to say the least....
96 Boats registered to fish our event which was quite amazing and overwhelming but I think it went fairly smooth with having an offsite weigh in. We had some outstanding companies support this years event but was pleased a big majority of them came out to weigh in to show their support for our Wounded Soldiers / Veterans. 29 Wounded Soldiers / Veterans were paired with Volunteer Boaters throughout Texas and were so very grateful for that. Truly shows how Texas supports our Military Men and Women and helped this event become the Single Biggest Bass Tournament on Lake Palestine outside of the High School series. Thank you to our Tracker Guys what an amazing help they were throughout the whole thing. We were able to start and finish bringing all our Trucks and Boats in a Bass Master Classic style weigh in up front of the stage all within an hour and a half.
Our 1st Place $5,000 by Tracker Boating Center Tyler & Sherwin-Williams was won with 20.50lbs to Paul Ferguson & Eric Thompson and thank you to RE/MAX Associates of Dallas for their support as well.
2nd Shawn Wilt and Stewart 19.00lbs 3rd Reed & Robinson 18.78lbs 4th Todd Pierce 18.63lbs 5th Mayne & Durrett 18.51lbs 6th McPherson & Lewis 18.50lbs 7th Lambert & Cagle 18.43lbs 8th Spalding & Spalding 17.63lbs 9th Burkett & Pottkotter 17.45lbs 10th Burton & Finch 16.57lbs
Big Bass was caught by Cole Brewer and Justin Snow 8.79lbr also US Military Veterans.
We were able to raise $12,510 for Operation Comfort to keep them successful in all they do for our Wounded Soldiers plus gave a ton of Prizes away. We hope our Anglers really appreciated having the chance to win some prizes outside of the Payout Places.
Best part even with having a off site weigh in and 96 Boats and Trucks in flighted starts and driving 15 mins to weigh in our Anglers did an amazing job keeping their fish alive and healthy. Steve Kalick ran our Livewell Release me trailer and did a fantastic job returning heathy fish back to Lake Palestine and said we only lost a handful of fish and a few of those were brought to the scale already dead. Just fantastic

Thank you for your support and your contribution of a Guide Trip we were able to give out as a door prize... Plus you had a pretty nice sack of fish for weigh in.
