Taking the wife and boat to fish Fork for Crappie for the first time today. Have fished it twice before for bass as a guest so didnt learn much a out the lake except it is far diffrent from the west Texas lakes I usually fish. I am not asking for coordinates to secret spots but would appreciate a point in the right direction. Dont know if we will fish this evening but will for sure tomorrow and Monday. We run a bait shop on the side so I loaded up about a lb of minnows along with my jig boxes. Boat is a white 20' Action Craft center console flats boat if you see me please feel free to pull up and bs a while.

Brush, timber and bridge pilings in 15-25 ft should get you bit.

We fished the trees at Indian Creek on Sunday got a real late start prolly about 1:00 in the afternoon. 4 fish made the cooler one was a real nice slab. Got a late start again today.....not sure of the name of the area but first drop of my jig got a nice black crappie, no more keepers. Trying to learn a new lake is a challange especially when everything looks good like it does at Fork. Will try to post up a pic of the slab later.

Nice Fish! I also fished Fork today and it was tough! I caught 4 keepers. Things should start to pickup in the next few weeks as things start to cool off. Fall crappie fishing is one of my favorite times on Fork! fish

I feel ya....I moved here from Lake Cypress Springs, there if you find structure, mark it...if it don't hold fish today, it will tomorrow.
I spent quite a few day days out here on Fork just idling, watching my graph with only 1 rod in the boat.
When I marked something holding fish, I'd see if they were crappie, catch 2, move on. If not, delete.
Now I have 3 "Milk Runs" on separate areas that have more spots to fish in each than you can in a day thumb
