Every time I teach a class I get asked for business cards and if I have a website. So, finally pulled the trigger.

Here it is.

Yes, I know about the white text that is occasionally on white or yellow flowers, it's a work in progress.

Opinions? Yes, there will be more pictures. Including pics of teaching classes and I'm going to start having posts about various plants I see and what they're good for like Mark does.

Cool. I should get a website.

I have a suggestion for you. You should put up a calendar of when prairie turnips and other stuff are ripe. Maybe put up a notice when certain mushrooms are coming up. That will give people a reason to keep checking your website.

Oh, advertising! Not sure how wordpress does that, but at some point you want any ad revenue going into your pocket. Might as well make some money off of this.

Cool!

Tell me about purslane....I always grow it in my pots in summer. I just was reading it's edible. How do I eat it? (I know I could google it, but this is more fun! thumb figured someone else might like the info too...very common plant in Texas heat).

You can avoid having ulcers by adapting to the situation: If you fall in the mud puddle, check your pockets for fish. ~Unknown

Open your eyes & look within, are you satisfied with the life youre living.

No matter how good or bad you have it, wake up each day thankful for your life. Someone somewhere else is desperately fighting for theirs.

Pop purslane in your mouth and eat it. It's fine raw. Might want to wash it off first if you mind eating where the dog marked it.

Be really careful you aren't grabbing spotted spurge. They can look similar to some people, and easy way to remember, "Spurge will make you purge." It's poisonous and will make you sick as a dog.
