 Bent Axle - Looking for replacement

The axle is bent on my single axle boat trailer and I'm looking to have it replaced. I took it to a place here in Fort Worth on Monday. They are having trouble locating the correct axle. Found one place that wanted $1800 for one. They are reaching out to another place here in Fort Worth about a quote to fab one. The axle is a square tube axle with a 2" drop. I never thought it would be this difficult to find a replacement. The boat is a 98 Triton TR19 and the trailer is the original single axle trailer.
Thoughts? Ideas?
I think I could find a new trailer for $1800.

Just have them flip the axle over. You will never know the difference. Most trailers need 2 more inches of clearance anyway.

Good grief those folks want an arm and a leg. Buy one and change it yourself, its not a lot of work. Good advice. It is an easy do it yourself job. If you take it off and put it back on you can save a bundle in labor charges.

McGills in Lewisville,grease vault hubs, 5 years no service required,I called them with the drop and hanger spacing and they were painting it by the time I drove over to get it.
