Tim - if it has gills and lives in the water the poor thing doesn't have a chance of not getting caught by you. Now, would it hurt to smile for the picture?  Nice fish. Did it do a lot of tail walking?

Did it do a lot of tail walking? Thanks! Oh yeah. It is really amazing to see a fish that big jumping and tail walking. I also caught a smaller (25-28 lbs) that jumped a lot more. Too much fun. As far as smiling, the guide taking the pict wanted to get the tarpon back in the water. So, that was all I got.  And no weight.  he's an easy 30, so I just said 30+. maybe closer to 40+.

Congrat on an Outstanding catch, I did not go this year but I shot an email to a Capt in Key West today about next May. I need some more of this  That is Mallory Square over my right shoulder. MO

Holy c rap! Very nice permit MO. That is a biggun. My guide suggested we go after permit when I go back. Sure do like Tarpon though... This is taken from Mallory Square. Key West, home of the sunset. lol

Also, these guys are purty cool. Frigates. One came in really close to one of our baits on top of the water.
