Never knew what a DDOS attack looked like on the recieving end until now. Proper authorities notified. Now I just get to see my email explode. 280 emails since 1:19 and counting.

A DDOS usually just blasts you off the net or makes things REALLY slow. Are those e-mails just because you are up and running and the main office is blasted off the net?

We are up and running, but the swamping is happening. He's got all requests / pings / emails being blocked from one main domain that they were coming from, but there's still some stuff trickling through.

The work email server. They took down email, phones, and chat for about 30 minutes until the boss could get to blocking all the directions it was coming from.
