My camera is packed up with my dove hunting gear so I didn't get any pics today but had a decent morning on Lake Murvaul, (oops, lake x.) The crappie are still holding on brush piles but you really have to be patient cause they're certainly not in any hurry to bite. Dead sticking the jig in about 10 or 11 fow and just wait. Best jig today was Bobby Garland shad in blue ice with a PINK jig head. Only caught a few dinks with the smallest about 3 inches and he had the whole jig in his mouth.  Managed to put a dozen good fish in the well with the best fish being 15 inches followed with some 13 inchers. Got off the water about noon and headed to the local caf for a slice of coconut pie and tall glass of iced tea
