I am voting drift, plus I am a :little" lazy but we will anchor in the winter..
If it ain't broke don't fix it...but go ahead and work on it anyway.....

I drift all year except spring when I can't find em deep. Scan, mark, drift puts them in the boat for me.

Thanks guys. Man, I've been in a slump. Been catching some, but just not on them. I usually drift during the winter and anchor in the summer. Time for a change here!

The lakes I fish have a lot of dead water in them so I don't drift much. I usually find a good wind blown flat with shad on it and drop cut bait (shad, minnows, bream, or drum) on the bottom and either anchor or work the area slowly with a trolling motor. I catch a lot of 12 - 21 inch blues like that.
