Me and a buddy want to take our kids on a fishing trip in October. What lake and guides for that lake would you recommend? Thanks

For October, Cedar Creek will be tough to beat as far as numbers and quality goes. I suggest you book a trip with Chris Webb's Guide Service. I guided alongside Chris for over five years, and for kids, this is your guy. His number is 903-275-3253. You can also find him on Facebook and Instagram, if you want to see the kind of numbers he's pulling right now.
There are a ton of great guides in east Texas, but for kids, I would go with Chris Webb every single time.

Mark with 3 Nails Guide Service is really good. He does a great job with kids cause he takes his kids out on plenty of trips. Chris Webb is very good also. Won't go wrong with either one.

This is the only guided freshwater trip I've ever been on but I was really impressed with Mark. That would be my recommendation.

This! Plus you have a chance of getting a free mount if one of you catch the biggest crappie fishing with Mark between now and December 31st! That is a huge plus!

I agree with several of the posts above. Mark Standridge took my grandson (who had never crappie fished) and I out and I couldn't have picked a better guide. He was very patient in instructing and encouraging my grandson. Plus he put us on fish and we caught 38 keepers. Good day with a good man.
Love the thump.
