I am needing new trailer bunks, and came across a product called Gatorbak. I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with them. Wanted to know if the product held up, and if it made loading and unloading any easier/ harder.

They seem to have good reports, but when you load and unload you have to make sure the boat is tied down, seems they like to slide off

I put "Ultimate Bunks" on our trailer a couple years ago. Cost about 3X wood & carpet bunks cost and warranted for as long as I have the trailer. Actual time to mount them was a half hour or so, and that because I'm a bit anal about things like that. They're a LOT slicker than carpet so if you go with something like this don't ever forget to tie the boat down before hauling it up the ramp.
Fishing, a man knows a serenity of soul and peace of mind that he finds in doing nothing else, and it makes no difference whether or not he catches anything. The mind of a true fisherman is not on petty subjects.

+ 1 on Ultimate Bunks. I really like them, but they are slick.
