My family and I went to Gulf Shores for a few days last week to spend some time together before the craziness of hunting season gets here. Got back and had to cancel my fishing trip Friday due to the terrible storms. I had reserved Saturday and Sunday for deer feeder checking and work and checking cameras. But I couldn't stand it, I had to go check on the crappie. So Saturday I spent 3 hours on the water with my little one. We had 29 keepers and some really nice ones. I knew this weather would bring the good ones and and make all of them Bite really good. It did! The fish were all over every tree we went to. its a great time to go out and really learn how to timber fish and choose what trees to fish. I'm booked every evening this week, but I have some mornings available. If anyone wants to go, let me know. I'm gonna run a final special to finish out my fishing season. $225 for half day trips. If you clean your own fish it's only $200. You can't beat that deal! Good for weekends too. That's good for 2 people. Message or call me if you're ready!

Sunday I went out to our property in Jacksboro and added a new feeder and checked all of the others. It was a beautiful day to be outside! Got a lot of work done and scouted a bunch of dove! Having a big fish fry and dove hunt out there on the 3rd. You hunt and I cook crappie for everyone! Corn hole and games as well. Looking forward to it! If that interests ya, let me know. Tell us more about the dove hunting! Some of us might be looking for a spot somewhere. My buddies places has 30 acres of sunflowers that flooded out and never made any seed.

Yes, that dove is wrapped with bacon, jalape�o, and cream cheese! Between that and the fried crappie.... It really doesn't get any better!
