Nice looking fish Chuck! Good job nailing em in the rain. What was the water condition? Also have you been seeing any minnows in those places in the hill country where you fish? Heading to a Crappie spot!

Thanks Curtis for the reply! The water conditions were pretty good considering the amount of rain that has fallen. Some areas it was stained and a couple of other areas it was clear. The limestone plays a huge factor in the clarity of the water up there. I am seeing a lot of minnows. I am also seeing bass and sunnies chasing em in the shallow water close to the bank. It is a site to see. Also I am seeing a lot of Dragon Flies. I am also seeing bass coming out of the water trying to catch the ones flying close to the water. Side Note: I think a fly rod would do very good!

Thanks Bob for the reply. Did not catch any Rios. I also did not see any at places I normally do. They are there just in hiding.

Thanks Gittter for the reply! As for the weather it has been a whole lot wetter these past two years. Been getting some super rain events at least three times a year. Before that we had a dry spell with water bodies about ready to dry up! Seems like over the past two years we have had some major flooding and a lot of very strong water current. Side Note: Got a feeling this upcoming winter is going to be a COLD one!
