If you are talking about Powell fishing rods, they are super rods. I have at least 20. Great product

I have three Powell rods and think they are good for the price. Haven't used No.8.

I currently own Powell spinning rods & have zero complaints. I think No.8 is the lower price point brand of 13 Fishing - I may be wrong. I have heard numerous complaints about breakage with 13 Fishing products, however nothing but positive reviews with their customer service to handle the problem.
Less gritchin', more fishin'
