My cousin is visiting from Utah this weekend and wants to spend a half day bass fishing on Sunday morning. We're going to be staying at a friend's house on Lake Granbury and I've never been on the lake. Is anyone willing to give some friendly tips on where to start out there? Not looking to steal anyone's honey hole or secret spots. I'd just like to catch a couple of fish with him that morning and not spend the whole time looking around. Maybe the answer is a different lake! Open to all suggestions. PM's welcomed. Thanks fellas.

I suggest anywhere I didn't fish Thursday. It was no fun.

We'd be willing to go after sandies too if that's the better bet.

Have not had a chance to fish Granbury since it cleared up but I did see a large school of sandies busting the surface by the pump stations on the right just before the dam. It was around 10:30 this morning and they stayed up over 10 minutes. Would not make the trip if you are on north end of lake but if you happen to be on that end might try around there.

BTW, some of those schools busting on top are LM bass smile. LM Bass can still be caught Flipping, squarebills, and deep cranking if you take the time to find right areas.
